//SERVICES
What does Imagine Entertainment do?
We are an event production company based in Sri Lanka, working since 1989. We design and deliver the technical side of live events, covering LED walls, sound systems, stage lighting, staging, rigging and show production, and we can take an event from first concept through to strike on the night.
What types of events do you produce?
Corporate events such as conferences, award ceremonies, product launches and annual dinners. Concerts and music festivals for local and touring artists. Television, film and broadcast production. Weddings and private celebrations. Public, sporting and national ceremonial events.
Do you handle the whole event, or only the technical production?
Either. Some clients bring us in as the technical partner alongside their own event managers or agency, and we supply equipment and crew to that plan. Others hand us the event end to end, including creative direction, content, and show calling on the day.
//EQUIPMENT & TECHNICAL
Do you supply LED walls for indoor and outdoor events?
Yes. We hold indoor LED screens suited to hotel ballrooms, conference halls and studio environments, and weather-rated outdoor screens for open-air concerts, stadium events and public ceremonies. Screen selection, processing and rigging are handled by our own crew.
What size LED wall do I need for my event?
It depends on how far the furthest guest sits from the screen, the dimensions and sightlines of the venue, the content you plan to show, and whether the event is being filmed. Rather than quote a size from a brochure, we look at the venue and the brief first, then recommend a screen size and pixel pitch that suits both the room and the audience.
Is a technician included when I rent equipment?
Yes. Our equipment goes out with the crew who operate it, including a sound engineer where audio is involved and a technician on site for LED and lighting. We do not supply gear on a drop-and-leave basis, because a screen or a PA that nobody is watching during the show is a risk to your event.
Can you work alongside our venue's existing AV setup?
Yes. We regularly integrate with in-house systems at Colombo hotels and conference venues, supplementing what is already installed rather than replacing it. A technical site visit beforehand tells us what the venue provides and what needs to come from us.
//PLANNING & BOOKING
How much does event production cost in Sri Lanka?
We do not work to a fixed price list, because cost is driven by the scale of the production, how many days the equipment and crew are committed, the venue and its access, and the specific package of LED, sound, lighting and staging your event needs. Send us the date, venue, expected audience size and a short brief, and we will price it properly rather than guess.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as you can confirm a date, particularly around peak season and for large productions, since equipment and crew are committed per event. We do take on shorter notice work where the inventory and team are free, so it is always worth asking.
How do I get a quote?
Contact us through the enquiry form, by phone on +94 777 313 233, or by email at sales@imaginesl.com. The more you can tell us up front about date, venue, audience size and what you want the event to feel like, the more accurate the first quote will be.
//COVERAGE
Where are you based, and do you work outside Colombo?
Our base is at No. 97 Delkanda, Old Kesbewa Road, Nugegoda, just outside Colombo. We work across Sri Lanka, including venues and outdoor sites well outside the Western Province, and we plan transport, power and crew logistics as part of the production.
Do you take on international and destination events?
Yes. We have delivered events in more than 15 countries, and we produce destination weddings and international corporate events. Cross-border work is planned case by case around freight, local crew and the requirements of the venue.
